cøpenhagen brings Nordic food, great coffee and brunch classics to the tropical setting of Bali. With two cafés and three bakery locations, they celebrate simple yet great ingredients and classic methods of Nordic food.
The refreshed identity brings cøpenhagen closer to its Danish heritage. The build-your-own approach to both product and business was a great insight to bring back the essence of Danish minimalism: simplicity, functionality and a sense of serenity. We developed a clear brand direction and design system to create consistency across all cafés and bakeries - taking into account the expansion of locations, events and their product range. A clear typography-based identity system is the foundation for all brand expressions.
The level of photography has been raised and the brand and product copywriting now match their upmarket position. For special events, we have developed a sourdough-based ink texture that exudes craftsmanship. By refocusing on the Danish roots of the brand, we have streamlined everything into a high-end brand. And that is exactly what is needed in the highly competitive hospitality industry in Bali.
